Fence Laborer – Entry Level Construction Position

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Fence Laborer to join our family‑oriented construction team. This full‑time, onsite role offers hands‑on experience in fence installation, forestry, and road construction for individuals eager to develop practical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with fence installation, including setting and driving posts, tying wire, and securing materials according to project plans.
• Operate tools safely and effectively, such as fence stretchers, hammers, saws, levels, pliers, post drivers, jack hammers, rock drills, and shovels.
• Follow instructions to ensure accurate fence placement and design specifications.
• Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform general site duties, including cleanup, material organization, and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; willingness to learn on the job is essential.
• Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, outdoor work in various weather conditions, and manual labor tasks.
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety procedures and power‑tool operation.
• Veterans and reserve military personnel are given hiring priority.
• Commitment to a drug‑ and smoke‑free workplace.

Required skills

• Fence installation techniques (post driving, wire tying).
• Operation of hand and power tools (hammer, saw, level, pliers, post driver, jack hammer, rock drill, shovel).
• Welding (optional).
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – optional.
• Chainsaw operation – optional.
