F&B Service Expert – Hospitality

About the role

The F&B Service Expert delivers memorable food‑and‑beverage experiences for guests at events and banquets. Working on‑site at the Westin hotel in Gurgaon, you will support the entire service flow—from setup to guest interaction—ensuring a seamless, high‑quality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Set up tables, event materials, and service stations according to event specifications.
• Communicate orders and special requests with the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and supplies throughout the shift.
• Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies; report any incidents or maintenance needs.
• Ensure personal and uniform appearance meets professional standards.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests in line with brand standards, using clear and professional language.
• Support team members to achieve shared service goals and uphold quality expectations.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting objects up to 25 lb, and moving equipment as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant food‑and‑beverage or event service experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work full‑time shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry as described.
