Faculty – Learning & Development – Soft Skills

About the role

The Faculty – Learning & Development – Soft Skills will join Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to design and deliver soft‑skill training programmes for students, helping them transition from campus to corporate environments.

Key responsibilities

• Impart training to Amrita students on campus‑to‑corporate transition, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Conduct group discussions, counseling activities, and workshops on self‑awareness, SWOT analysis and feedback.
• Deliver similar training to other constituent schools of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham as directed.
• Gather industry feedback through the General Manager‑Career Competency Development and update the curriculum accordingly.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate qualification (PG) in a relevant field.
• Strong ability to engage adult learners and build confidence.
• Excellent verbal and non‑verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel between Faridabad and other Amrita campuses when required.

Required skills

• Effective presentation and public speaking.
• Facilitation of group discussions and workshops.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and counseling.
• Knowledge of soft‑skill development methodologies.
