Factory Manager – Food‑Grade rPET Recycling Plant

About the role

At SKJ Clean Enviro Ventures LLP we operate a state‑of‑the‑art PET bottle‑to‑bottle recycling facility. We are looking for a seasoned, hands‑on Factory Manager to take single‑point operational ownership of our food‑grade rPET recycling plant in Changsari, Guwahati.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end plant operations covering bottle sorting, hot washing, flake processing, extrusion and Solid State Polycondensation (SSP).
• Establish and monitor strict mass‑balance across all stages to minimise process losses.
• Ensure compliance with food‑contact quality standards (FSSAI, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 45001).
• Coordinate with maintenance engineering to optimise MTBF/MTTR, conduct root‑cause analysis on breakdowns and maximise OEE.
• Control manufacturing KPIs such as power consumption, yield, chemical usage and unit production cost.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of manufacturing/plant operations experience, including at least 5 years in a Plant or Factory Manager role.
• Strong background in continuous‑process manufacturing, preferably PET bottle recycling, rPET flakes/granules, polymer extrusion, SSP or Starlinger lines.
• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer or Production Engineering.
• Root‑cause‑driven mindset, comfortable spending substantial time on the shop floor and converting daily MIS data into operational improvements.
