Fabrication Production Engineer

About the role

The Fabrication Production Engineer will oversee the manufacturing of specialised bridge construction equipment at our Pune facility. You will ensure that production processes meet design specifications, quality standards and delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate production planning and resource allocation for fabrication activities.
• Monitor shop‑floor workflow, resolve technical issues and support design and engineering teams.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Support quality‑control activities, maintain production documentation and generate reports.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to align fabrication schedules with project requirements.
• Interact with suppliers as needed and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Production Engineering with hands‑on experience in fabrication or mechanical manufacturing.
• Analytical ability to interpret technical drawings and troubleshoot production problems.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling and resource coordination.
• Knowledge of quality‑control standards and inspection methods for steel fabrication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Pune District.
