Expert Tech Lead – Circuit Design Engineer (Automotive)

About the role

We are looking for an Expert Tech Lead to design, modify and maintain analog circuits for automotive braking system products. You will lead the circuit design team, ensure compliance with safety and reliability standards, and drive cost‑effective innovations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, modify and maintain analog circuits for automotive braking systems.
• Perform circuit calculations using Mathcad and simulations with Saber.
• Analyse the impact of electronic component changes on circuit performance.
• Own hardware layout and circuit module responsibilities throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Propose innovative solutions and cost‑improvement ideas for circuit design and product strategy.
• Collaborate with ECU customers and internal functional teams on safety, thermal and reliability aspects.
• Conduct lab testing and measurements using CRO, multimeters, load boxes, etc.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 7‑9 years of experience in analog circuit design for automotive applications.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing hardware projects.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electronic circuit theory.
• Analog circuit design for power supplies, ADC monitoring, CAN interfaces.
• Design of gate drivers, motor drives, DC‑DC, boost converters, LVR, MOSFETs.
• Experience with motor‑path design and 48 V circuit development.
• Proficiency with laboratory measurement equipment (CRO, multimeter, load boxes).
• Ability to perform circuit calculations (Mathcad) and simulations (Saber).
