Experienced School Bus Driver – Full‑time (Faridabad)

About the role

Pathways School Gurgaon is seeking an experienced school bus driver to operate its transportation fleet on a full‑time basis in Faridabad. The driver will ensure safe, punctual pick‑up and drop‑off of students and staff while maintaining a calm and secure environment on board.

Key responsibilities

• Operate school buses on assigned routes, adhering to traffic regulations and school policies.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Monitor student behavior to ensure a respectful and safe atmosphere.
• Communicate schedule changes, delays, or incidents with the transport coordinator, school administration, and parents.
• Respond to emergencies following established safety procedures.
• Assist with route planning, attend regular safety trainings, and complete required logs and documentation.

Required profile

• Professional driving experience, preferably with trucks or heavy vehicles.
• Defensive driving skills and solid knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Effective communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Valid CDL Class B (or equivalent local commercial/heavy‑vehicle) license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a school bus or passenger‑transport driver is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work early mornings and afternoons, follow structured routes, and manage time reliably.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance checks and reporting of mechanical issues.
• Commitment to child safety, adherence to safeguarding policies, and willingness to undergo background checks.
