Experienced Nepali Cook/Chef for New Café in Patna

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nepali Cook/Chef to join our upcoming food café in Patna, Bihar. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering authentic Nepali flavours, especially a variety of momo dishes, while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene in a fast‑paced café environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Momo, Jhol Momo and various momo varieties.
• Cook Wai Wai, Chowmein and other Nepali‑style noodles.
• Make Kathi Chicken Roll, Veg Roll and additional roll items.
• Prepare sauces, chutneys, fillings, marinades and other accompaniments.
• Maintain consistent portion sizes, presentation and overall food quality.
• Handle daily kitchen preparation, cooking operations and ingredient management.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and food‑safety standards are met.
• Minimise waste through proper storage and inventory control.
• Suggest new dishes, flavours and menu ideas to keep the offering fresh.
• Collaborate with the owner/management on kitchen requirements and standardise recipes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Nepali cuisine and momo preparation.
• Ability to maintain consistent taste and quality every day.
• Disciplined, hygienic and hardworking attitude.
• Responsibility for kitchen operations and ingredient management.
• Creativity in introducing new food items.
• Comfortable working in a busy café setting.
• Previous restaurant or café experience is an advantage.
