Executive I – Materials (Ankleshwar)

About the role

The Executive I – Materials is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end flow of materials at our Ankleshwar site. You will coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, ensure compliance with commercial and regulatory standards, and support cross‑functional teams to keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Gate entry and inward processing of materials against purchase orders, invoices and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with transporters, buyers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues, disputes and discrepancies.
• Plan dispatches using Stock Transfer Orders and critical lists from Purchase, ensuring safe loading of vehicles, barrel filling and tanker loading.
• Manage vehicle placement, loading coordination with contractors, security, and export documentation.
• Maintain proactive reporting of unsafe conditions and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Oversee manpower for truck dispatch, tanker loading and barrelization.

Required profile

• Experience with SAP Materials Management (MM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) or equivalent logistics software.
• Familiarity with commercial rules, government regulations and safety standards.
• Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma, Design of Experiments (DOE) are a plus.

Required skills

• SAP‑MM (transaction codes, movement, validation, troubleshooting)
• SAP‑EWM or comparable warehouse management system
• Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Power BI or Tableau for reporting and analytics
• Six Sigma, DOE certifications (if any)
