Executive Housekeeper

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operations across our properties in Goa. The role is responsible for maintaining luxury standards of cleanliness, hygiene and guest experience while managing a large team and multiple vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and manage the housekeeping function across Goa, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
• Design and implement SOPs for daily, deep and periodic cleaning routines aligned with luxury service expectations.
• Build, train and mentor a high‑performing housekeeping team, including Deputy Housekeepers, Supervisors and Associates.
• Conduct regular audits of shared spaces to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene and aesthetic standards.
• Forecast manpower and resource requirements; oversee duty rosters, leave planning and shift allocations.
• Manage inventory of linen, cleaning supplies, guest amenities and equipment, maintaining optimal stock levels and preventing pilferage.
• Handle guest requests, complaints or feedback related to housekeeping with promptness and professionalism.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Guest Relations and F&B departments to ensure smooth operations and address inter‑departmental needs.
• Oversee vendor relationships for laundry, linen, deep cleaning and pest control services, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement through regular training sessions, on‑job coaching and performance reviews.
• Lead pre‑opening setup, post‑renovation deep cleaning and seasonal preparation activities.
• Track housekeeping costs, contribute to budget planning and optimise expenses while maintaining service quality.
• Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation and government health regulations across all units.

Required profile

• Degree in Hotel Management, preferably with a specialization in Housekeeping or Accommodation Operations.
• 12‑15 years of experience in housekeeping operations, including 3‑5 years in a leadership or HOD capacity, preferably in luxury hospitality or resorts.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Professional grooming and presence, service‑oriented mindset.
