Executive – Branch Operations (Express Logistics)

About the role

The Executive – Branch Operations will oversee day‑to‑day logistics activities across multiple locations, ensuring efficient loading, unloading, routing and documentation for express shipments. This role combines hands‑on operational work with supervisory responsibilities to meet productivity targets and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical loading and unloading of trucks and containers, and sort documents and parcels for optimal delivery flow.
• Plan and reprioritise routes, balancing stops with the pickup coordinator to meet customer time‑windows.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with state and local warehousing, material‑handling and shipping regulations.
• Accurately complete and audit delivery records, pick‑up manifests, customs paperwork and other required documents.
• Use defined tools to scan, record and transfer data for performance tracking and compliance.
• Maintain vehicle and package security by following safety and security procedures.
• Handle customer queries, resolve issues or escalate to appropriate departments.
• Identify revenue‑generation and automation opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile with system data and ensure stock accuracy.
• Manage personal time effectively to achieve all KPIs and support team objectives.

Required profile

• Graduate or post‑graduate degree.
• 5‑8 years of experience managing a warehouse or logistics operation.
• Proven supervision experience, budget development, safety management and process standardisation.
• Strong skills in inventory control, reporting, information analysis and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to make sound judgments and work proactively as a team player.
