Executive Assistant to CTO & Co-Founder

About the role

Blossom Social is seeking an Executive Assistant to partner directly with the CTO & Co-Founder. This role goes beyond traditional admin duties, acting as an operational hub that keeps engineering leadership focused on building by managing priorities, communication, and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own inbox, Slack, and task management, surfacing critical items and drafting routine replies.
• Research and prepare first‑draft summaries, comparisons, presentations, emails, and internal documents.
• Coordinate travel, itineraries, bookings, and logistics for team offsites and workations.
• Automate repetitive tasks using AI tools, spreadsheets, and simple scripts.
• Run calendar and meeting logistics, protect focus time, and ensure smooth weekly operations.
• Prepare meeting agendas, track action items, and follow through to completion.
• Facilitate cross‑team communication across Engineering, Product, Design, Operations, and external partners.
• Manage software subscriptions, vendor coordination, and day‑to‑day operational tasks.
• Proactively close open loops with vendors and partners.
• Support additional engineering leaders as needed with coordination and logistics.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience supporting a founder, executive, or fast‑moving startup team.
• Ruthlessly organized and proactive, able to close loops without prompting.
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting professional emails and documents.
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools, lightweight scripts, and APIs to improve efficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI‑assisted productivity tools.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google Sheets).
• Basic scripting ability for automation.
