European Loan Portfolio Analyst

About the role

An analyst is sought to join the London ABF Analytics team and support it throughout the entire deal investment lifecycle, covering underwriting, acquisition, asset management and disposals. The role focuses on critically analysing data received from external parties, automating standard reporting and ad-hoc analysis, and supporting the valuation process. It is based in Pune, India, reporting to the Managing Director, Analytics, in London.

Key responsibilities

• Manage datasets of customer data, transactional data and more from multiple sources and integrate them into a data warehouse
• Carry out dataset stratification analysis and support the development of pricing models
• Work with senior analysts and the wider deal team to deliver data solutions as required
• Support the London team's analytics on existing and new ABF transactions
• Work with partners such as banks, rating agencies and auditors to ensure timely delivery of data to required standards
• Contribute to special projects as directed by management

Required profile

• Minimum of 12 months of SAS programming experience, or equivalent data analysis software package
• At least a 2:1 undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research)
• Experience in the financial services sector preferred
