ERP Engineer II

About the role

The ERP Engineer II (SAP BTP Integration Suite) is a hands‑on integration developer responsible for building, deploying, and supporting integrations that connect SAP S/4HANA with internal applications, partners, and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support SAP BTP applications and integrations using Cloud Foundry, HANA, Node.js, CAP, Fiori/UI5, iFlows, APIs, and EDI technologies.
• Build and maintain SAP S/4HANA integrations using B2B/EDI, IDoc, OData, SOAP, and REST interfaces.
• Create message mappings, value mappings, error handling, and XSLT/Groovy scripts for integration flows.
• Support ANSI X12 and EDIFACT transactions, trading‑partner connectivity, and EDI file processing.
• Perform unit, integration, and UAT testing and prepare deployments for production releases.
• Monitor interfaces, resolve or reprocess failed messages, and escalate complex production issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, interface configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
• Apply security, access‑control, credential‑management, and change‑governance standards.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of SAP Integration experience using SAP PI/PO and/or SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Hands‑on expertise in SAP Integration Suite, APIs, IDoc, OData, REST, SOAP, SFTP, and EDI.
• Experience developing, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise integrations and production issues.
• Understanding of SAP business processes such as FICO, OTC, PTP, master data, sales, and billing.
• Exposure to S/4HANA, fashion/retail processes, and integration migrations is preferred.

• iFlows, APIs, OData, REST, SOAP, SFTP, EDI, ANSI X12, EDIFACT.
• Message mapping, XSLT, Groovy scripting.
• IBM MFT, IBM MQ, MuleSoft, API gateways, ESB (optional but beneficial).
• Java, Python, Generative AI, AI agents, LLMs, RAG, embeddings, API‑based AI solutions.
