About the role
The Environmental Service Aide provides essential housekeeping support across the hospital and its affiliated facilities. This position involves maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the hospital and affiliated buildings, including cleaning patient rooms, corridors, and common areas.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks such as moving equipment, linens, and waste containers safely.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Environmental Services Supervisor.
- Adapt to varying shift schedules and work hours as required.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and shifts.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
