About the role
Husky Technologies is seeking an Engineering Team Leader – Mechanical to head a multidisciplinary mechanical design team in Chennai. The role focuses on delivering innovative Husky products, ensuring high quality, managing risk, and meeting customer expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop a team of junior, senior and specialist mechanical designers through coaching, mentoring and cross‑training.
- Oversee the design, development and release of new Husky machine platforms as well as critical service and customer support projects.
- Ensure delivery of products that satisfy business‑defined requirements and align with the Husky Operating model.
- Plan and schedule design activities to meet committed completion dates and business needs.
- Enforce engineering standards, quality processes and risk‑mitigation practices.
