Engineering Team Leader – Electrical

About the role

Husky Technologies is seeking an Engineering Team Leader for its Electrical platform in Chennai. The role involves leading a multidisciplinary team of junior, senior and specialist designers to develop new Husky products and solutions, with a strong focus on innovation, quality, risk mitigation and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing coaching, mentoring and cross‑training.
• Oversee design, development and release of electrical platforms for new Husky machines, as well as handling critical service and customer support requests.
• Ensure delivery of new products that meet business‑defined requirements and align with the Husky Operating model.
• Plan and schedule design activities to meet committed completion dates according to business needs.
• Enforce product development standards and risk‑mitigation practices throughout the team.
