Engineering Stores Executive

About the role

The Engineering Stores Executive will establish and operate the engineering stores and spares‑management system for a new Greenfield manufacturing facility. The role involves setting up the store layout, SAP/Ariba material master, vendor onboarding and ensuring readiness for plant commissioning, followed by ongoing inventory control for the live plant.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the engineering store and C&C warehouse layout, racking, 5S and storage infrastructure.
• Create material master and spare‑part codes in SAP and Ariba; build the initial spares catalogue with engineering and OEMs.
• Define MSL, Min‑Max and reorder levels; onboard vendors and ensure statutory compliance for fuel and consumable storage.
• Manage inventory of spares, chemicals and consumables (₹10‑20 Cr) to meet PepsiCo standards, including stock‑taking, reconciliation and audit.
• Issue materials using FEFO principle, monitor daily fuel and briquette stocks, and drive green‑environment initiatives.
• Maintain SAP/Ariba master data, reservation tracking and cost‑centre booking; support value‑engineering and spares localisation.
• Coordinate with finance, IBM and EHS teams for scrap disposal, vendor payments and statutory audits.
• Lead quality audits (AIB) and ensure compliance with KC/GCS and MIS reporting.

Required profile

• B.E. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in setting up and operating engineering stores or material management functions in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with SAP, Ariba and inventory control processes.
