Engineering Manager – Healthcare SaaS

About the role

We are a rapidly growing healthcare technology SaaS company seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop a team of software engineers, delivering high-quality, scalable, secure solutions for healthcare organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of software engineers, establishing engineering standards and best practices.
• Partner with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure timely delivery.
• Review architectural decisions, promote code quality, testing, CI/CD and secure development practices.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks while balancing short-term delivery with long-term scalability.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Security and Customer Success to ensure production-ready releases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years in engineering management or technical leadership.
• Proven experience delivering SaaS applications in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Familiarity with healthcare privacy and security regulations such as HIPAA.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and people-management skills.
