Engineering Executive

About the role

The Engineering Executive is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of all engineering systems and equipment at the Marriott property in Goa. This role combines hands‑on technical work with supervisory responsibilities and guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, equipment and building systems.
• Calibrate controls, gauges and meters; locate and operate shut‑off valves.
• Manage inventory, order parts and maintain purchase‑order logs.
• Conduct life‑safety checks, fire‑pump and generator run tests, and inspect fire‑sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Assist in developing disaster‑response protocols and respond to guest repair requests.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching engineering staff.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies; report hazards and complete required safety certifications.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum 2 years of related engineering/maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
