Engineer – System Integration Tests

About the role

The Engineer is responsible for confirming and supporting the safe, reliable, and effective operation of Airbus product features and functions across sub‑system, system, and aircraft levels. This role focuses on individual technical leadership and high‑quality technical delivery using ground‑based test rigs and rigorous analysis of ground and flight data.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end technical ownership of specific flight‑control sub‑systems and ensure requirements are met with high fidelity.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical challenges within the flight‑control domain using advanced analytical methods.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of test procedures.
• Define system testing methods, write test procedures, execute tests, record data and classify defects.
• Perform real‑time analysis during flight tests, produce comprehensive flight‑test report analysis and identify defects.
• Drive innovation of testing techniques, including automated testing, virtual testing and Big Data analysis.
• Review and validate design specification documents such as SDD, SID and ICD.

Required profile

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronics/Avionics or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in Avionics systems V&V or development.
• Deep understanding of Avionics Systems Engineering, Flight Management Systems and Flight Controls.
• Strong knowledge of Indicating & Recording systems, Guidance, Navigation and Control.
