Engineer III – Intelligent Automation

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking an Engineer III to design, support and continuously improve SAP‑based intelligent automation solutions across finance and supply‑chain processes. You will work closely with finance, sales, procurement and master‑data teams to translate business needs into reliable automated workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Provide production support for SAP intelligent automation and AI solutions covering invoice parking, cash application, sales order automation, credit memo processing and customer master processes.
• Document current and future state processes, business rules, exception scenarios, controls, data mappings and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with SAP ABAP, BTP, AI, workflow, integration, Fiori and automation teams through design, testing, release and hyper‑care phases.
• Monitor agent runs, queues, APIs, document processing and exception dashboards; troubleshoot failed automations and coordinate incident resolution.
• Maintain runbooks, operational documentation and use automation metrics to improve reliability, controls and straight‑through processing.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of progressive SAP experience in implementation, enhancement, integration, intelligent automation and production support.
• Strong process knowledge across SAP FICO, Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, Direct‑to‑Consumer and master‑data domains.
• Experience with SAP automations, workflows, interfaces, APIs and exception‑management in production environments.
• Ability to analyze SAP document flow, configuration, logs and interface payloads to isolate root causes.
