End User Support Engineer

About the role

Kyndryl is seeking an End User Support Engineer to design, deploy and maintain Windows and Linux desktop environments for its global workforce. You will act as the primary point of contact for end‑users, delivering technical assistance and ensuring a secure, reliable desktop experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Windows/Linux desktop environments for end‑users.
• Configure and manage desktop applications such as office suites, email clients, web browsers and productivity tools.
• Provide technical support for desktop‑related issues and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate desktops with existing infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation for desktop configurations, policies and procedures.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve the desktop environment and implement security best practices.
• Monitor ticket queues, prioritize incidents, and ensure timely resolution according to SLAs.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets and coordinate patch and update deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Windows and Linux systems administration with a focus on desktop environments.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
