About the role
The HR – ER Compliance Manager – Zonal will lead employee relations and statutory compliance for the Gold Loans business across multiple branches in the assigned zone. The role involves regular travel to conduct audits, investigations and support HR business partners.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labour statutes (Shops & Establishment Act, Minimum Wages, Bonus, Gratuity, PF, ESI, CLRA, POSH, etc.).
- Conduct periodic HR compliance audits, maintain trackers and coordinate statutory filings with legal teams.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary inquiries, and investigations, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
- Support HR Business Partners in managing misconduct, absenteeism and performance issues.
- Oversee background verification, employee documentation and promote a positive employee relations climate.
- Ensure POSH compliance, conduct awareness sessions and support internal committee inquiries.
- Perform regular branch visits, surprise compliance checks and urgent ER interventions.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in employee relations, disciplinary processes and investigations.
- Excellent documentation, audit management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned zone.
