Embedded Software Architect – Connectivity (ECT)

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Architect to define and drive a scalable, high‑quality software architecture for connected products. The role combines deep technical expertise in C/C++ and embedded systems with the ability to translate business requirements into robust, future‑proof solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and system requirements into a comprehensive technical architecture.
• Define end‑to‑end embedded software layers, including drivers, middleware, and application code.
• Design scalable solutions across MCU/SoC platforms, RTOS, and hardware abstraction layers.
• Specify communication interfaces and integration strategies for subsystems.
• Architect systems for high performance, low latency, and efficient resource usage.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Integrate connectivity modules such as RF and Wi‑Fi into embedded platforms.
• Assess emerging technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, data platforms) to improve platform engineering.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and proof‑of‑concept initiatives.
• Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines for embedded development.
• Mentor development teams on architecture best practices and support complex debugging.

Required profile

• Proven experience in embedded software architecture and system design.
• Strong analytical thinking and system‑level problem‑solving capability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor cross‑functional teams.
• Hands‑on experience with RTOS, device drivers, BSP and low‑level development.
• Familiarity with secure boot, OTA updates and cybersecurity concepts.
