Electrician – Motor Testing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our industrial team and focus on testing and maintaining electric motors. The role involves performing a range of electrical tests, diagnosing faults, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing of motors according to industry standards.
• Conduct insulation resistance (IR), high‑voltage (HV), and performance load tests.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical faults in motor systems.
• Record test results and maintain accurate test reports.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment.
• Follow safety procedures, SOPs, and quality standards at all times.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of AC and DC motor operation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• IR testing knowledge.
• HV testing knowledge.
• Load testing knowledge.
• Proficiency with megger, multimeter, and clamp meter.
