Electrical System Engineer – Bangalore

About the role

Airbus is seeking an Electrical System Engineer to join its Bangalore Engineering Center. You will work on the full aircraft life‑cycle, from early development to post‑delivery support, contributing to commercial aircraft programmes such as the A320, A330, A350 XWB and A380.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver electrical load analysis for all Airbus commercial aircraft on time, cost and quality targets.
• Support electrical architectural studies and review the electrical load list.
• Perform load analysis at busbar, TRU and generator levels, including overload assessments.
• Prepare detailed design and analysis reports covering load flow, voltage drop, protection selection and in‑service issues.
• Create ELA documents and reports, allocate loads, and generate functional diagrams.
• Conduct ESN (Electrical Structure Network) analysis, feasibility studies for modifications, and trade‑off studies.
• Maintain aircraft fleet allocation, configuration management, and initiate optimisation studies.

Required profile

• B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E. in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
• General awareness of aircraft systems and strong engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency with mathematics and statistical analysis.
• Exposure to aircraft electrical systems.
• Understanding of configuration management and change processes.
