Electrical Mechanical Maintenance

About the role

The Electrical Mechanical Maintenance professional ensures that production machinery operates reliably by performing preventive and corrective maintenance. The role supports continuous improvement and safety standards within the assigned area.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and execute established preventive maintenance plans.
• Detect, diagnose, and correct failures in production equipment, testing to confirm proper operation.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, including work on hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area and manage maintenance tools and work orders.
• Participate in equipment installation, relocation, and improvement projects to reduce downtime.
• Communicate machine status to the production supervisor and ensure compliance with safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Generate reports, track actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Basic education: High school diploma and technical training in industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and maintenance procedures in English and Spanish.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and reliability.
