Electrical Layout Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Layout Engineer to join our engineering team and deliver detailed electrical designs for industrial, power‑plant and oil & gas projects across multiple Indian locations. The role involves creating 3‑D layout models, preparing technical documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3‑D electrical layout models for cable trays, grounding systems, lightning protection, lighting, fire detection and instrument routing.
• Produce and maintain cable and interconnection schedules, termination details and field instrument layouts.
• Interpret project specifications, power‑plant standards and oil & gas requirements to generate accurate design deliverables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design issues and support construction activities.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of electrical layout design for industrial projects.
• Familiarity with power‑plant standards and oil & gas industry requirements.
• Ability to read and prepare technical documents.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 3‑D modeling tools such as E3D, EDS, SP3D or similar platforms.
• Experience using AutoCAD for detailed drafting.
• Knowledge of DiaLux for lighting design.
