Designer Engineer – Mechanical Design (Unigraphics NX)

About the role

The company is looking for a Designer Engineer to create and develop mechanical systems, components, and sub‑assemblies for e‑machines and automotive applications. You will work from concept through to production, using Unigraphics‑NX and supporting tools.

Key responsibilities

• Create mechanical designs for automotive components and systems, covering plastic, sheet‑metal, casting and machined parts.
• Develop 2D drawings and 3D models in Unigraphics‑NX and manage BOMs in SAP and Windchill.
• Apply GD&T principles and ensure designs meet manufacturing process requirements.
• Prepare and present design reviews, supporting cross‑functional design teams.
• Assist with prototype creation and testing for design validation.
• Report progress of assigned tasks to the reporting manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Machine Design engineering.
• 2‑5 years of experience in automotive product design.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes for various materials.
• Proactive attitude with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Unigraphics‑NX CAD (modeling, assembly, drafting).
• Windchill for BOM creation.
• SAP (BOM management).
• Design of plastic, sheet‑metal, casting and machined components.
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
