Editorial Manager, Customer & Partner Trust

About the role

The Editorial Manager leads Amazon's Customer & Partner Trust content ecosystem, ensuring that SOPs, customer communications, email templates, notifications and operational guides are accurate, consistent and accessible. You will partner with Operations, Policy, AI/Automation, Analytics and other cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement of content quality and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, train and develop a team of Content Developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Establish and maintain editorial standards, style guides, quality frameworks and governance processes.
• Partner with management and stakeholders to provide editorial expertise and improve content solutions.
• Lead content programs, SOP consolidations and editorial process enhancements.
• Plan, organize and supervise day‑to‑day editorial operations, including creation, review cycles, approvals and publishing workflows.
• Measure and meet content delivery SLAs, quality metrics and stakeholder satisfaction targets.
• Develop editorial policies, procedures and style guides.
• Identify opportunities to improve content effectiveness through data analysis, user feedback and best practices.
• Champion AI‑powered tools and automation to simplify content operations.
• Create and manage recognition and communication programs within the team.
