Editorial Board Resourcing Associate – 9‑Month Contract

About the role

The Editorial Board Resourcing Associate supports journal growth by identifying and recruiting high‑quality researchers for editorial boards. Working closely with Editors‑in‑Chief, publishing teams and technology partners, the associate helps build and maintain relationships across the academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Use data analytics to assess recruitment needs, develop candidate datasets and recommend strategies that align with journal development.
• Screen and vet editorial board candidates for relevance, ethics and misconduct concerns, managing multiple journal portfolios.
• Engage with external Editors‑in‑Chief and internal publisher teams, communicating recruitment goals and progress.
• Collaborate with analytics and data teams to improve tools for editor identification and support a standardized onboarding experience.
• Propose process improvements to scale editorial board recruitment while aligning with publishing workflows.

Required profile

• Graduate or Master’s degree in a scientific discipline.
• At least one year of experience in editorial, publishing or related academic environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Data analysis capabilities.
• Project management skills.
