ECU Mechanics Project Leader – ADAS Components

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated ECU Mechanics Project Leader to drive the mechanical development and integration of Advanced Driver‑Assistance Systems (ADAS) components. The role will be based in Bangalore and will involve leading projects from concept through production ramp‑up while collaborating with cross‑functional Bosch teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ADAS mechanical component development projects from concept to production and ramp‑up.
• Analyse and finalize project requirements and specifications.
• Manage project scheduling, approvals, agreements and track performance, applying corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive problem‑solving using 8D, DAR, CAR methodologies and oversee mechanical BOM generation and release in SAP.
• Coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and support production ramp‑up.
• Provide cross‑functional leadership to achieve material cost‑reduction targets.
• Facilitate idea‑generation workshops with production, purchasing, hardware and design teams.
• Conduct quantitative risk assessments and ensure quality assessments such as DRBFM.
• Coordinate with sales, software, production, purchasing, hardware, design and system‑engineering teams.

Required profile

• B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical project leadership, preferably in automotive or ADAS domains.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
