e-Axle Thermal Management Systems Design Engineer

About the role

Bosch is seeking a Design Engineer to develop thermal management components for its e‑Axle platform. You will be responsible for creating and validating electric oil pumps, filtration systems and heat exchangers that meet customer requirements and Bosch standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop e‑Axle thermal management components, including pumps, filters and heat exchangers.
• Produce detailed 2D and 3D models using UG‑Nx and generate technical documentation such as specifications and DFMEA.
• Define mechanical architecture based on customer requirements and internal standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (electrical, software, manufacturing) to ensure seamless integration.
• Develop and execute verification plans and test methods to validate performance and reliability.
• Manage supplier relationships, project timelines and cost targets.
• Prepare design guidelines, standards and change‑control documentation (CCB/ECM).

Required profile

• BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in automotive thermal management or related mechanical design.
• Strong understanding of pumps, heat exchangers, filters and hydraulic phenomena.
• Proficiency in requirement definition, DFMEA and DRBFM.

Required skills

• UG‑Nx 3D CAD modeling.
• Interpretation of 2D engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of e‑Axle cooling and lubrication methods.
• Familiarity with relevant materials, norms and test procedures.
