About the role
The Duty Medical Officer provides comprehensive patient care in the emergency department and other hospital settings. The role requires prompt response to emergency situations, performing life‑saving procedures, and delivering clear communication to patients and families.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical findings.
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation for all patient interactions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high‑quality patient care.
- Assist in the management of in‑patient and out‑patient services as required.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and guidelines for patient safety and care.
- Participate in departmental meetings and continuous medical education activities.
Required profile
- MBBS degree.
- Designation as Medical Officer (departmental assignment).
