About the role
Be Well Hospitals is seeking a full‑time Duty Medical Officer to join its Puducherry facility. The role involves delivering day‑to‑day patient care, responding to emergencies, and supporting physicians in clinical activities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct patient rounds, monitor health conditions, and ensure timely medical interventions.
- Assist physicians with minor surgical procedures and provide intra‑operative support as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Train and guide junior medical staff and interns, fostering a learning environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
Required profile
- MBBS or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council.
- Strong knowledge of general medicine and ability to make rapid clinical decisions.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts and handle emergency cases.
