Domain Expert - Labelling & Scanning

About the role

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, is hiring a Domain Expert for labelling and scanning in Hyderabad, India (hybrid role). The role covers end-to-end ownership of global labelling solutions for raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods and shipping labels, including ERP connectivity, barcode-driven supply chains, traceability and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete lifecycle of enterprise labelling, printing, barcode and mobility solutions, ensuring reliable integration between business systems, infrastructure, printers, scanners and operational processes across global manufacturing and supply chain environments.
• Administer and support Android/Windows CE handheld devices, SOTI MobiControl, TekRF and StayLinked environments, including barcode scanning, device lifecycle management, deployments, troubleshooting and license management.
• Support the scanner ecosystem, including wireless mobility infrastructure, barcode scanning operations, monitoring, troubleshooting and transaction processing.
• Take technical ownership of labelling and mobility platforms, covering solution architecture, implementation, lifecycle management, cross-functional collaboration, root cause analysis and the development of global standards for labelling, barcode and mobility solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or another relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture development and project management.
• Deep understanding of supporting systems, connected applications, their interfaces and data flows.
• Understanding of business architecture, processes and standards/policies.
• Proven problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead complex technical initiatives and support global business operations.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with enterprise labelling platforms such as BarTender, BarOne, Loftware or equivalent in manufacturing and supply chain environments.
• Strong knowledge of barcode standards, labelling compliance, printer technologies and mobility solutions, including Zebra printers, handheld scanners and wireless device management platforms.
• Experience integrating labelling and mobility solutions with SAP ERP, databases, middleware and enterprise applications.
