Documentary Trade Operator – Analyst

About the role

Deutsche Bank’s Trade Finance Office is seeking a Documentary Trade Operator – Analyst to support export and import transactions, letters of credit, and bank guarantees in line with Indian regulations. The role serves as a primary contact for large multinational clients, ensuring smooth transaction delivery and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Handle export, import, LC issuance, bank guarantees and financing products while applying UCP, URC, ISBP and URDG standards.
• Act as the first point of contact for multinational clients, coordinating transactional delivery with product partners across the Corporate Bank.
• Coordinate transactions internally and with clients, ensuring processing within agreed turnaround times.
• Prepare data extracts and MIS reports on client behaviour.
• Maintain proactive interaction with internal stakeholders and uphold the bank’s vision, values and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Graduate, postgraduate or MBA in Finance, or Chartered Accountant qualification.
• 3‑6 years of experience in trade finance or related banking operations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Indian trade finance regulations.
• Familiarity with UCP, URC, ISBP and URDG guidelines.
