Financial Controller

About the role

Digital Edge is expanding its finance team in Mumbai and seeks a Financial Controller to lead end‑to‑end accounting, reporting and compliance across its rapidly growing data‑center business in Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting and bookkeeping under IND‑AS and IFRS, including month‑end close, quarterly reporting and tax filings.
• Coordinate statutory and internal audits, monitor daily cash flows and oversee bank payments.
• Design, implement and maintain Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and related processes.
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts and KPI reporting packages for senior leadership.
• Ensure statutory compliance, liaise with tax authorities and external auditors.
• Control corporate and capital‑project expenditures across development and construction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Group Finance and IT to implement and maintain ERP systems and financial controls.
• Work with legal and compliance teams to establish a risk‑management matrix and reporting framework.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling full‑cycle finance, accounting and reporting in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IND‑AS, IFRS and Indian tax regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP implementation and financial systems.
• Ability to develop and enforce robust internal controls and risk‑management processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working with internal teams, shareholders and external auditors.
