Dispatcher – Coordinate Truck Movements

About the role

The Dispatcher role at S&R Trucking is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Gurgaon, responsible for coordinating daily truck movements and ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily truck movements, assign loads and schedule drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor shipment status, communicate with drivers and customers, and resolve routing or scheduling issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate records in dispatch systems, track equipment availability and optimise routes for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with operations, customer service and yard staff to support smooth intermodal transportation services.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills for clear interaction with drivers, customers and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, prioritise tasks and solve unexpected delays or route changes.
• Relevant education in logistics, transportation, business or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with dispatch or transportation management systems.
• Competence in basic computer applications such as email and spreadsheets.
