Dispatch Officer – Aggregate

About the role

The Dispatch Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring all dispatch activities to ensure timely, accurate and cost‑effective delivery of materials, spare parts, equipment and finished goods. The role works closely with warehouse, production, procurement and transport teams while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch activities according to customer schedules and delivery priorities.
• Prepare and verify delivery challans, invoices, e‑way bills, packing lists and export documents.
• Verify material availability, manage picking, packing, labeling and staging while applying FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Liaise with transporters, freight forwarders and couriers; track shipments and resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Provide shipment information, proof of delivery and handle customer queries related to dispatch.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading practices and report incidents, damages or non‑conformities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and monitor key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce or related field.
• 3‑6 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, dispatch or supply‑chain operations.
• Experience in manufacturing, mining equipment or heavy engineering preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
