Dispatch Executive – Commercial Operations

About the role

The Dispatch Executive will oversee the end‑to‑end dispatch of finished goods, ensuring that deliveries reach customers on time, accurately and cost‑effectively. Working closely with production, sales, transport partners and customers, the role is pivotal to maintaining operational efficiency and high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute daily dispatch operations in line with sales orders and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse and sales teams to confirm product availability and readiness for dispatch.
• Prepare and verify dispatch documents such as invoices, delivery challans, e‑way bills, LR copies and packing lists.
• Liaise with transporters and logistics partners to secure timely vehicle placement and maintain professional relationships.
• Track shipments, resolve transit issues promptly and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, MIS reports and reconcile dispatched quantities.
• Ensure compliance with GST e‑way bill rules, company SOPs and safety norms.
• Monitor logistics costs and support initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce transportation expenses.
• Handle customer queries regarding dispatch status and documentation with professionalism.
• Supervise loading activities to guarantee correct quantity, quality and safe handling of materials.
