About the role

JioHotstar is looking for a senior PR leader to own the public‑relations strategy for its International Shows portfolio. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will shape the narrative around premium global titles and position the platform as the go‑to destination for international storytelling in India.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the PR strategy for the International Shows category from brief through launch, covering all major titles and tentpole moments.
• Build and deepen relationships with premium print, digital and cultural journalists, focusing on quality coverage rather than volume.
• Lead launch campaigns, including press screenings, critic previews, media round‑tables and talent interactions, coordinating with international studios and distributors.
• Maintain a consistent messaging framework and tone across agency outputs, partner communications and internal narratives.
• Manage PR agencies with clear briefs and high standards, ensuring alignment with corporate communications.
• Collaborate with Content Acquisitions, Brand, Social and Programming teams to integrate PR planning early.
• Handle international studio relationships for approvals, asset access and co‑promotional activities.
• Track coverage quality, share of voice and overall impact of PR efforts.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of experience in entertainment or media PR, with a strong focus on premium or international content.
• Established network of journalists and editors who influence entertainment and culture coverage in India.
• Proven ability to work independently, set strategy and make decisions without a detailed playbook.
• Excellent written communication skills for crafting press materials and internal briefs.
• Familiarity with the international streaming landscape and the movement of global IP across markets.
