About the role

The Director of Technology leads a team of engineers responsible for building and maintaining enterprise applications and services. This senior position focuses on .NET development, AI/ML integration, and modern engineering practices while providing strategic technical oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a high‑performing engineering team aligned with business and technology goals.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and professional development processes.
• Review pull requests, coach engineers, and enforce best practices in .NET and AI/ML development.
• Document and standardize the release process, ensuring all engineers are trained.
• Improve application health through proactive monitoring, observability, and AI‑driven diagnostics.
• Facilitate communication between engineering and operations teams.
• Conduct regular 1‑on‑1s and biannual performance reviews.
• Prioritize technical debt, system upgrades, and modernization initiatives such as migration to .NET Core and AI‑powered solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance for scalable, secure, cloud‑native systems.
• Collaborate with product and business leaders to align engineering strategy with organizational objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in .NET frameworks, cloud‑native architectures, and AI/ML technologies.
• Proven experience managing release processes and application health monitoring.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.
• Ability to balance technical oversight with strategic priorities.
