Director of Human Resources – Luxury Hotel Launch

About the role

Join the inaugural team of Signia by Hilton Jaipur, a 293‑room luxury hotel marking the brand’s first entry in Asia Pacific. As Director of Human Resources, you will shape the HR function from the ground up, aligning people strategy with the hotel’s business objectives and brand values.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies that support the hotel’s launch and long‑term growth while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and local regulations.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning to attract top‑tier hospitality professionals and manage labor costs.
• Oversee training, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, grievance handling, and labor contract negotiations.
• Establish and enforce HR policies, wage and benefit administration, and workplace safety standards.
• Prepare and control the HR budget, ensuring efficient resource use in support of hotel operations.
• Drive engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives to build a high‑performing team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Director of Human Resources in luxury or upper‑upscale hotels.
• Demonstrated success managing pre‑opening HR functions for luxury properties.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.
• Ability to align HR initiatives with commercial strategy and financial goals.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
