Director - Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Finance to lead budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis across our business units, providing insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for all business units.
• Analyze financial performance against key metrics and document highlights for management.
• Partner with business teams to understand revenue streams, cost drivers and business models.
• Provide commercial and financial insights for pricing, product launches and investment initiatives.
• Monitor and report on business KPIs, preparing dashboards and management reports.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend actionable improvements.
• Support strategic planning, scenario modelling and long‑range planning.
• Lead financial due diligence and support fundraising or capital allocation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate month‑end close and reporting.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 10 years post‑qualification experience in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical, modelling and data interpretation abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and a problem‑solving attitude.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
