Director Engineering, Analog Design (Power ICs) – Chip Lead

About the role

Renesas is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead mixed‑signal IC development for the India market. The role is technical, cross‑functional and product‑defining, focusing on analog signal‑chain, high‑power delivery, mixed‑signal integration and digital‑controller architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Define optimal system architecture for application‑specific ICs targeting automotive, industrial, power and mixed‑signal applications in India.
• Map product requirements to existing Renesas IP across business units and identify gaps that need new development.
• Collaborate with system engineering, analog packaging, back‑end, design, test and operations teams to deliver ICs with efficient cost structures.
• Build and lead a technical team from the ground up, establishing the required skill sets.
• Drive product definition, architecture decisions and ensure alignment with customer use cases, cost targets and application constraints.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in mixed‑signal IC development and analog design.
• Proven ability to lead large engineering groups and deliver complex semiconductor products.
• Strong understanding of automotive, industrial and power market requirements.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills across multiple business units.
