Digital Operations Specialist

About the role

KONE Technology and Innovation (KTI) is seeking a highly skilled Digital Operations Specialist to manage and support remote monitoring applications and devices hosted on Microsoft Azure across multiple geographical regions. This role requires deep hands‑on expertise in Azure cloud operations, containerized platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, database platforms, and DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and operate Azure‑hosted, containerized applications and infrastructure supporting remote monitoring solutions.
• Act as Azure Subject Matter Expert, ensuring high availability, performance, security, scalability, and cost optimisation.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java‑based applications using Azure DevOps.
• Operate and support Kubernetes workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or equivalent platforms.
• Perform hands‑on work with MS SQL Server, Azure SQL and other Azure data services, including complex queries and performance tuning.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual tasks and improve reliability.
• Monitor health of applications and infrastructure with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
• Drive Incident, Problem and Change Management processes, ensuring SLA and KPI compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications or related engineering field.
• 7–8 years of experience supporting cloud‑based, distributed, production‑grade systems.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture.
