Dialysis Nurse (Full-time, Chennai)

About the role

Wockhardt Foundation is seeking a qualified Dialysis Nurse to join its on‑site team in Chennai. This full‑time position involves delivering safe and effective hemodialysis care to patients while supporting the foundation’s mission of providing quality healthcare to underserved communities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and manage hemodialysis procedures according to clinical protocols.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health throughout each treatment session.
• Collaborate closely with nephrologists to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on kidney health, dialysis processes, and post‑treatment care.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Current nursing license with relevant dialysis certifications.
• Proficiency in hemodialysis and related patient monitoring techniques.
• Comprehensive knowledge of general nursing practices and nephrology.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient‑education abilities.
• Prior experience in a similar role or work with under‑privileged communities is an advantage.
