DevOps Engineer

About the role

OMS Software is looking for a DevOps Engineer in Bengaluru to build and own the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that keep OMS running reliably for accredited labs across India and Australia. The role works closely with the engineering team to automate everything from CI/CD to monitoring, so that downtime during a client's NABL assessment window is not an option.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for OMS backend and frontend services
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP, including provisioning, scaling, cost optimisation and security hardening
• Implement and maintain container orchestration using Kubernetes or ECS
• Set up and own monitoring, alerting and incident response, so the team knows about issues before clients do
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools
• Manage database reliability, including backups, failover, replication and performance tuning
• Work with engineering leads on release management, blue-green deployments and rollback procedures
• Ensure environment parity across development, staging and production
